Genetic Testing
At EVERWELL LONGEVITY & WELLNESS, we utilize GeneSight® Genetic Testing to help personalize psychiatric medication selection based on your unique genetic profile. This advanced testing enhances our ability to anticipate how your body may respond to certain medications, helping reduce the trial-and-error process often associated with finding effective treatment.
GeneSight® testing may be beneficial for individuals being treated for depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. While the test does not diagnose a condition or determine the single “best” medication, it provides valuable insights that help your provider make more informed treatment decisions.
The testing process is quick, simple, and non-invasive. A painless cheek swab is collected during your visit and sent to a certified laboratory for analysis. Your personalized results are typically available within 1–2 weeks.
Once your results are received, your provider will review your GeneSight® report alongside your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. The report helps identify medications that may be more compatible with your genetic profile, medications that may require dose adjustments, and those that may carry a higher risk of side effects—allowing for a more personalized approach to your mental health care.
